Chevrolet Malibu — 35,283 Units Sold
Sales of the Malibu also increased this year. Chevrolet reported a total of 35,283 Malibu sales in the first quarter of 2020, compared with 34,197 in the same time period in 2019. The 2020 Malibu is a comfort-oriented car with an available 250-horsepower engine and a maximum cargo capacity of 15.7 cubic feet. You can expect up to 29 city and 36 highway mpg. The Malibu was also named J.D. Power’s Highest Ranked Midsize Car in Initial Quality in 2019. Aside from its athletic design, the Malibu catches the eye with available accents that include LED daytime lights and tail lamps as well as dual exhaust outlets.
The 2020 Chevrolet Malibu comes with a choice between a 1.5-liter turbo engine and an available 2.0-liter turbo engine. The smaller engine delivers 29 city and 36 highway mpg. You’ll sacrifice a bit of fuel efficiency for a more engaging ride if you opt for the turbo engine. The larger engine gets an estimated 22 city and 32 highway MPG. Chevrolet Equinox — 73,453 Units Sold
Chevrolet sold 73,453 Equinox SUVs in the first quarter of 2020, compared with 88,500 in the first quarter of 2019. Sales may have dropped a bit, but the Equinox is still one of Chevrolet’s best-selling vehicles. This small SUV has seating for up to five, a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds and a maximum cargo capacity of 63.9 cubic feet.

Chevrolet Silverado — 144,734 Units Sold
The 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is the company’s best-selling vehicle by far, with 30,420 more sold in the first quarter of 2020 than the same quarter in 2019. This light-duty pickup truck tops out at a maximum available 4×4 towing capacity of 9,300 pounds and a maximum payload of 1,870 pounds. It also has six different powertrains, including a 2.7-liter turbo, a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel and a 6.2-liter V8 engine for when you need more power. The base Work Truck has a 2.7-liter turbo engine and delivers 310 horsepower along with a towing capacity of 7,100 pounds.
If you want increased towing capacity, one option is the LT is a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine with a capacity of 9,300 pounds. Meanwhile, the highest level High Country truck has 420 horsepower, a towing capacity of 12,000 pounds and a 6.2-liter V8 engine.
